A Walk to understand

100%
dear Travelers

It is a program of walking tour to several places in Jakarta that has a historical background related to diversity and human rights. The idea to initiate A Walk To Understand came from our positive collaboration with local guide tour on how to involve public and raise their interest to human rights topics that often looked as a complicated matter.

During the walk, the tour guide and related speaker will explain the historical background and information the audience can learn from the visited place in relation to human rights issues. This event aims to promote awareness on diversity as well as one of our effort to raise funds (through donations), carried out in supporting and promoting awareness of human rights issues.

The program will be held online during the festival and will be equipped with sign language interpreters and English-Indonesia translators. The previous themes of A Walk To Understand were “Human Rights Through Film”, “The Diversity of Beliefs, Faiths, and Religions in Indonesia”, “Delicacy in Diversity” and “Local Heroines”.
