It is a program of walking tour to several places in Jakarta that has a historical background related to diversity and human rights. The idea to initiate A Walk To Understand came from our positive collaboration with a local guide tour on how to involve the public and raise their interest in human rights topics that often looked as a complicated matter.
During the walk, the tour guide and related speaker will explain the historical background and information the audience can learn from the visited place in relation to human rights issues. This event aims to promote awareness on diversity as well as one of our efforts to raise funds (through donations), carried out in supporting and promoting awareness of human rights issues.
The film festival aims to promote awareness on a wide range of these issues and create platforms of opening, sharing and exchanging creativities.
We believes in unboxing all individuals from labels, stereotypes, prejudices, and negative stigmas. To this date, the film festival has been held in different cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung and Bali.
The On Tour event is a mini festival where we bring some of the best films that we screened previously on the same year festival to another city in Indonesia.
The On Tour event is usually being held at the end or beginning of the year.
100% All You Can Read is a literacy focused program to give an opportunity and to introduce new books and writers who have promising potentials by organizing their book launch. Not only limited to that, this program will hold discussions or reviews about book with gender, disability, mental health, HIV/AIDS, or other human rights issues.
We collaborate with local and international writers or publisher to hold this event.
Cinergi (Cinema Berbagi/Shared Cinema) is a special screening program devoted to difabel audiences. We believe that everyone has the right to enjoy a film and other art forms. In the previous offline edition of 100% Manusia Film Festival, difabel audience (i.e the limited sighting audience) will be assisted by volunteers who will whisper the story of the film to them. We have also provided a film with Closed Caption subtitles to help the limited hearing audience to enjoy the movie
In addition to creating a safe space to express and voicing opinions, we provide a creative space for promising artists. This space can be used by selected artists to exhibit their arts on gender, equality, diversity, and tolerance through visual arts such as paintings, sketch, photography, installation, and video art.
A platform to showcase all forms of performing arts such as dance, theater, or music in relation to film, human rights, gender, disability, mental health and HIV/AIDS.
It is an opportunity for selected artists to show their ability, and provide a chance to collaborate with other artists in presenting their arts to the public.
A special program where we share information and provides health care services during the festival. We believe health becomes a crucial part for one wellbeing and all individuals deserve to have equal access to health care facilities. The festival audience can get both access and information that is related to sexual and mental health. The confidentiality of personal data and health status is guaranteed.
An initiated program 100% Heart To Heart in 2020 for the very first time as we understood the need to address mental health problem properly, especially in times like this. As we received positive feedbacks and great outcomes, 100% Heart To Heart will be available again to provide a safe space for our audiences to pour their heart out with a psychologist during the festival. The confidentiality of personal data and health status is guaranteed.
An open forum discussion, interactive and heart to heart program on current issues related to diversity and other human rights issues. Will involve speakers from various backgrounds and communities, not only related to the topic but also have an extent knowledge on it. We would like to add the assistance of sign language interpreters and English-Indonesian Translators, whenever possible, to support all audiences needs.
A light mannered discussion on a topic about human rights related issues that is considered taboo in society. The speaker will be from different backgrounds and communities related to the topic and have an extent knowledge regarding the topic. We would like to add the assistance of sign language interpreters and English-Indonesian Translators, whenever possible, to support all audiences needs.
In this fun and self-liberating program, the audience can participate for free of charge in a karaoke party where all people are free to express themselves.
As a new initiative for 100% Manusia Film Festival 2021, the audiences can be actively involved in expressing themselves through words and poetry.
100% Webinar is an online seminar program with filmmaker, activist, governance representation and related experts to discuss a crucial topic that inspired by the selected film in the festival. It is intended to bridge a gap between the festival and the audiences as well as to replace the regular post-film screening Q&A, which often take place during offline festival. The session will be equipped with sign language interpreters and English-Indonesia translators.
100% Stay at Home is an online mini talk seminar program at Instagram Live @100persenmanusia with filmmaker, activist, governance representation and related experts to discuss a crucial topic that is inspired by the relevant issues in society.
It is intended to promote programs while giving an awareness to selected relevant issues as to replace the regular monthly events before pandemics, which often takes place during offline events.
