Bhinneka Cipta Setara
(Diversity Creates Equality)– formed by volunteers, film enthusiasts, college-students, journalists, activists, film curators, and other creative thinkers who focuses on creative works to promote Human Rights (i.e via medium of film, literature, photography, musical, painting, social media), to facilitate changes in our society and raise awareness of human rights issue such as the rights of minority, disable people, gender and mental health issue, and not to mention: HIV/AIDS.
Independently organized, The committee of Bhinneka Cipta Setara are coming voluntarily from various backgrounds, yet they all share a collective vision of a tolerant Indonesia, which can become a home for all.
We believe in order to be able to make a difference, especially in the Human Rights area, we need to support each other. Thus, making us stand side by side with other movements.
Other than 100% Manusia Film Festival as Bhinneka Cipta Setara’s programs, we also have our monthly events (pre-pandemic) with local and international partners, such as Films Screenings, Discussions, Exhibitions, Book Discussions, Walking Tour (A Walk to Understand), in facilitating awareness for human rights issues, in informative, educative, and fun way.
